What are Glass Break Sensors, Door Contacts and Motion Detectors?Glass Break Sensors ensure that the perimeter of the home is protected, and are installed on the frame of the window glass, or a nearby ceiling or wall. A signal is sent to VOXCOM's Emergency Response Centre when tampering is detected, through high-pitched sound patterns, or vibrations that indicate a window has been broken. If the door seal is broken and your system is armed, a signal is immediately sent for the alarm to sound, and VOXCOM's Emergency Response Centre is notified. Motion Detectors are equipped with infrared technology, to detect body heat and movement, and will sound the alarm and notify VOXCOM's Emergency Response Centre.
