What are Glass Break Sensors, Door Contacts and Motion Detectors?

Glass Break Sensors ensure that the perimeter of the home is protected, and are installed on the frame of the window glass, or a nearby ceiling or wall. A signal is sent to VOXCOM's Emergency Response Centre when tampering is detected, through high-pitched sound patterns, or vibrations that indicate a window has been broken.

Door Contacts are magnetic sensors located at points of vulnerability, such as front, back, and sliding doors. If the door seal is broken and your system is armed, a signal is immediately sent for the alarm to sound, and VOXCOM's Emergency Response Centre is notified.

Motion Detectors are equipped with infrared technology, to detect body heat and movement, and will sound the alarm and notify VOXCOM's Emergency Response Centre. Pet friendly motion sensors are available, so pets can roam freely without setting off the alarm.

Glass Break Sensors, Door Contacts and Motion Detectors Offer the Following Benefits:

  • Peace of mind that second story windows are protected from break and entry.
  • Added protection to all window entrances in your home.
  • Complete perimeter and interior protection.
  • Allow you to be protected and have pets roam freely around the house.
  • Door chime allows you to know when the door is opened, so you always know when someone has entered or exited the house. This is especially helpful if you have children.

If You Answer Yes to Any of the Following Questions, You Should Consider Additional Protection:

  • Do you have second story windows, that could be accessed by an intruder?
  • Do you have windows that could be large enough, for someone to enter your home?
  • Would you feel better knowing that all possible points of entry are protected?
  • Do you have pets that you would like to protect?
  • Would you like to be able to arm your system in stay mode, so you can move freely in your home while still having perimeter protection?
  • Would you like to know whenever someone has entered, or exited your home?
